We had a great turn-out for the February meeting. The topic was "composition." Several members brought fine examples of their own work, including Alana Preston, Greg Dawes, and Reinald Nielson. We also examined the works of national and international artists from books and magazines.
Alana reminded folks about the New England Camera Club Conference coming up in July. Several members talked of a possible group trip to the Massachusetts event.
We welcomed newcomers Mike & Tammy from Baileyville. Mike's specialty is underwater photography and he is looking forward to this summer to try out his new camera. We are looking forward to seeing the results!
Alana or someone was going to approach the editors of a local nature photography magazine to see if we could get a tour or they would be guest speakers at an upcoming meeting.
March Minutes will be posted ASAP. Next meeting is April 2 at Helen's Restaurant in Machias starting at 2PM
